The Sunbeam Lotus Owners' Club was created in 1991 as a progression from its previous being as a register within Club Lotus. The club is dedicated to offering its members every facility possible to further the enjoyment of their Talbot Sunbeam Lotus. We also strive to promote and publicise these limited-production road versions of the cars that won the 1981 World Rally Championship.

The club offers its members many benefits including a quarterly magazine ("oppoSite LOC"), help and advice on all aspects on ownership, parts sourcing, insurance valuations, etc. Please see our own website for full details.

We have members across the globe, including many in Europe plus as far afield as New Zealand and Japan. We cater for all types of Sunbeam Lotus too, whether they be restoration projects, daily run-abouts, weekend fun cars, competition cars or ex-works World Championship rally cars. Many members are currently looking to buy the right car and we help them to achieve this with our database of Sunbeam Lotuses for sale. We also have a few members who are just enthusiasts; our magazine contains plenty to keep them interested, including running reports from owners, archive features, stories from the rally days and interviews with important people from the Sunbeam Lotus story.

The club runs long circuit gearbox kart racing at the track at Darley Moor Race Centre, Nr Ashbourne, Derbyshire.
Also the club runs a kart racing school and ARKS test facility useing the clubs gearbox karts or the pupils karts at the same venue.

S & C MC organise and promote up to 4 major events per year (2 Sprints and 2 Rallies).

We co-organise a weekend of Motorsport at Dalton Barracks, Abingdon (Abingdon Motorsport CAR-nival - A 2 course sprint and an 88 mile stage rally) as well as a 'Long Course Sprint' at the same venue every April.

We have also organise a fun stage rally at Christmas at Pegasus Village - Rushmoor Arena Aldershot, an ideal opportunity to blow away the cobwebs.

We have around 200 members who compete in all disciplines of motorsport from PCT's, Autotests, Sprints, Circuit Racing and BTC, through to National and International Rallies.
