Motorsport UK provides multiple channels for employees to express their voice both individually and collectively. We encourage engagement and actively seek the involvement of employees across a broad range of initiatives.

• Our Employee Voice group is made up of up to 7 Employee Representatives from across Motorsport UK, the group meets at least quarterly to discuss and prioritise topics of importance to the wider employee group and provides input on initiatives linked to workplace environment and culture. The group has a strong working relationship with the Senior Management Team.
• We encourage participation in a range of employee surveys to gather feedback on how we are performing as an employer, this includes our annual Staff Survey.
• We conduct in-person and virtual all hands where employees are encouraged to contribute ideas and ask questions.
• Managers and leaders operate an open-door policy from the CEO all the way through the organisation, providing a broad platform of support.
• We utilise a variety of technology to support communication and connectivity across the organisation. Our HRM platform enables all staff to communicate and share updates via the homepage, while tools such as Microsoft Teams and our company intranet support day‑to‑day communication and information sharing. The use of multiple digital platforms allows employees to collaborate effectively and stay connected in a virtual working environment.
• We encourage one-to-one relationships between Line Managers and employees at all levels, with regular, open and constructive dialogue between both parties.
• We have policies and procedures in place to provide employees with ways to raise workplace concerns or issues. These include our Whistleblowing policy and our Grievance procedure.
• We operate annual performance development reviews and personal development processes with regular individual workplan and feedback sessions plus virtual and in-person team meetings.
• Implement measures to support employees in the workplace and have a zero tolerance of bullying and other forms of abuse and harassment.

• Our talent and succession plans help us to grow a pipeline of talent for the future, supporting career progression based on capability and potential, identified through personal development planning.
• We support a blended approach to learning by enabling employees to take part in a wide range of learning-related activities to suit their needs – from attending conferences and webinars to on-the-job learning, mutual mentoring and coaching.
• Employees are supported financially with payment of professional subscriptions and are given time to continue their professional development.

Motorsport UK uses a range of variable‑hours contracts with differing nomenclature such as directly engaged consultants or agency workers. These arrangements are a critical operational requirement, enabling us to deliver key services to our customers and communities and to respond to fluctuating or unexpected demand. We recognise our responsibility to treat workers fairly and responsibly. When used appropriately, variable‑hours contracts provide flexibility that benefits both individual workers and Motorsport UK.

• Our Sustainability and EDI strategy reflects our work within the sport and wider community. The strategy also guides internal, employee‑focused activity, ensuring alignment with our organisational goals and ambitions.
• Our EDI Committee meets three times a year to review progress against the strategy and oversee initiatives delivered both internally and in the community. Board members are represented on this committee.
• EDI training is mandatory for all employees.
• We have a pay structure where roles are paid fairly regardless of the gender of the post holder. We monitor our Gender Pay Gap on an annual basis.
• Our staff intranet offers a range of resources to support our employees with their mental and physical health. For more formal support we offer access to both an Occupational Health and Counselling Service.
• We gather data to understand our workforce diversity.
• At Motorsport UK we believe in encouraging a healthy balance between in person team cooperation and giving our people flexibility to help manage their life outside of work. We recognise that Motorsport UK is a membership organisation, with a complex range of teams and work programmes and this benefits from face-to-face interaction. Over several years we have seen the benefits from providing the flexibility for employees of one day of the week working from home and the rest of week in the office to work face to face with colleagues and teams. This may be subject to variation depending on the role.

Motorsport UK pays all directly employed and contracted colleagues at least the Real Living Wage and has done so since April 2026. This is replicated with external agency staff.
