Ile Valley Classic Vehicle Club
Club Information
About Us
The club was formed by a group of classic car and motor cycle enthusiasts living in and around Ilminster in Somerset.
Our main objective is to bring together those in the area interested in restoring, using and enjoying classic vehicles. To this end we organise regular get-togethers for members, including evening and daytime runs and other outings.
We also have a strong community spirit and are committed to supporting local charities and events.
You dont need to own a classic car to join us: all thats needed is an interest and enthusiasm for classic vehicles. We also recognise that classic car enthusiasts often have slightly less enthusiastic partners so our events always try to keep both parties happy.

About Us
The Inter-Register Club is an association of one-marque car clubs, formed in the 1950's, for pre-war cars whose sole purpose is to run a series of events each year to exercise those cars (and their owners).
Most one-make old car clubs are too small to warrant affiliation to the Motor Sports Association (MSA) and this precludes them from legally running competitive events on public roads. To overcome this problem several old car clubs (Alvis Register, Humber Register, STD Register, Austin 10 Driver's Club, The Riley Register, Amilcar, 750 A7, Pre War A7, BMW, Crossley, FIAT, Jowett and Singer) have formed the Inter-Register Club (IRC) which is affiliated to the MSA and permitted to run events on the public roads. Each member club organises one event (typically a treasure hunt, navigational rally, scatter rally or driving test) each year. The events are competitive but not car-breaking. The events, typically field an entry of twenty plus cars and are held in various parts of the country. Each year the "Inter-Register Shield" is awarded to the best performing marque and trophies are given for the best individual overall performance. In addition there is an annual competition for individual champion driver and navigator and team championships. All members of the individual marque Registers are de facto members of the IRC and are entitled to compete in IRC events.

Isle Of Wight 4X4 Club
Club Information
About Us
The Isle of Wight 4X4 club is run by off-roaders for off-roaders. It is an inclusive club and welcomes owners of all vehicles. Since the clubs formation in 1988 we have consistently organised events to promote motor sport on the Isle of Wight. The club holds events around the Isle of Wight generally once a month; these include driving days, trials, green-laning trips, inter-club events, mainland trips and camping. The activities cater for all, novice off-roaders to veteran mud-pluggers.
Even if you have a shiny new 4x4 that you just want to have a drive around to try out, we would be delighted to see you at one of our driving days. Our senior members have guided complete novices safely round our custom-made routes many times!
The annual membership fee covers the cost of the club website and general facilities offered to all members, whilst competitions and events are self-funding from the entry fees.
