About Us
FDMC is probably the largest Motor Club in Hampshire catering for Clubman level motorsport and active in most forms of club motorsport, and the Gallery shows members in action at some of our regular events.
Our premier event is the Abingdon CARnival motorsport weekend in June. Its unique and very popular format combines, over 2 days, a Sprint with 2 timed courses, a single venue tarmac stage rally, a tarmac autotest, and various social activities! Since its inception in 1997, the event has also help raise over £200,000 for its associated charities.
A typical FDMC season includes two other Sprints, 4 Autosolos, 2 autotests on grass and loose surfaces, a Production Car Trial and a couple of 12-Car Rallies as well as a bundle of social events too.
These driving events cater for less experienced competitors, as well as experts, and it`s also easy to get involved in the organising and marshalling aspects as well as radio communications and rescue services.
In most cases standard cars can be used, as well as those prepared for competition - many of our Sprint drivers compete in Production classes and often use the same car as everyday transport!
Our social calendar is based around twice - monthly club nights at the Plough and Horses in Cove. Our main website, at www.farnboroughdmc.org.uk has more information and contact details, so we look forward to hearing from you.

About Us
The history of the 500 movement goes back to 1946, and following the golden period of 500 racing in the 1950's the cars declined in prominence in the early 1960's, until the current Club was established in 1968.
The main aim of the club is to preserve, conserve and enjoy 500cc Formula 3 cars from the 1948 ~ 1960 era, and we continue to facilitate the competition use and registration of genuine F3 cars from this era.
The club organises a circuit racing Championship that take place across 6 to 10 races each year and a Speed Championship that includes 10+ hillclimb and sprints.
Circuit racing take us across the UK and to at least one overseas venue each year, and the Hillclimbs take place at most leading UK venues such as Prescott, and Shelsley Walsh with the clubs own hillclimb at Wiscombe Park being held in May.
We publish a Club Magazine 3 times a year and maintain a very comprehensive website that contains the history of 500cc F3 racing, its drivers and marques as well as current information on news, events and cars and parts for sale.
The club established its own vehicle identity programme (VIF) that is accepted by leading race organisations as an authorised evidence of a cars adherence to period specification.
500cc F3 racing is one of the most cost effective ways into true historic motorsport and the clubs friendly and supportive members are keen to encourage new members to join the club and offer support and advise when ever required.

Forest Edge Kart Club
Club Information
About Us
In 2004 Forest Edge Kart Club moved to its new location at Barton Stacey near Andover.
The track was designed and constructed from scratch and provides overtaking opportunities at
every corner for the direct drive karts and a long 300 metre back straight for the gearbox karts to
really show off their speed.
The club is one of a very few circuits in the country that is run purely for its owner driver
members and we are constantly pioneering as much as we can within the constraints of
the site being an active MOD training facility during the week.
FEKC was the first club in the country to:
Run Pre ARKS sessions dating back to our Barnsfield Heath days
First Club to have online entry and payment
First for online timing
In 2013 we surpassed 400 members again!, with an average race meeting of 172 drivers the club is the 4th biggest in the UK and BIGGER than Super 1 in numbers!
Other items of note:
Free internet wireless access
Electric available to all reserved pit spaces
New timing system in 2014 from Alpha
New scrutineering building
CCTV throughout with camera on track
Membership gifts
With the MOD as our landlords we are limited as to any permanent building we can erect onsite
However in 2014 we will continue to invest back into the club for you our members.
Under consideration, subject to MOD approval we wish to add:
Improved kerbing
Sector timing
Drivers parades with prizes!
Drivers parade with tyre draws!
The club continues to work within our limitations with the MOD and to find ways to innovate new ideas that add more value and FUN back to yourselves and welcome any ideas you may have that could further enhance the overall experience, any thoughts please feel free to email;
