National Association for School & Youth Group Karting
Club Information
About Us
NatSKA has been the home of Schools and Youth Groups Karting for 50yrs. Giving kids, teens and parents the chance to compete and race in motorsport for a fraction of the price. Over the years the organisation has visited all corners of the UK, explored many different engine classes and put many kids, teens and parents on the path to competing in Motorsport be it driving, mechanicing or marshalling.
NatSKA is a non Profit nationwide association run by volunteers. We operate under our own NatSKA Regulations, which are approved annually by the countrys Motorsports governing body the Motorsport UK (MSUK) which is responsible for all motor sport in the UK including British Touring Cars, Formula 3, Formula Renault and Formula 1 British Grand Prix.
The elected volunteer members of the NatSKA committee are ultimately responsible for the running and organisation of the NatSKA season, both at and away from the circuit. Much of the committees work takes place in the background, but without the hard work of the volunteers NatSKA would not as successful as we are today. There are many volunteers within NatSKA that are not on the committee but still contribute hugely to the development and continued growth of this organisation, without such help race days simply could not function. Committee meetings held throughout the season ensure the input and feedback of NatSKA members is fed back into the organisation. Transparency and open involvement is something NatSKA prides itself on
NatSKA has been a member club of Motorsport UK (and its predecessors) since 1972, each school year NatSKA runs a National championship visiting circuits across all corners of England and Wales from Rowrah in the Lake District to Lydd on the south coast, the season ends with the National Sprint championships early in July. NatSKA prides its self on providing National racing at an affordable price. NatSKA fields grids covering classes from Cadets up to Rotax Max with average entry size for each meeting of 100 drivers.
The member clubs of NatSKA field entries of drivers in both club owned equipment and owner driver outfits, NatSKA has been very successful in helping our youngsters grow their careers in Motorsport, ex-drivers have gone on to drive in the British Touring Car Championship, European Porsche GT championships, design engineers at Force Indian, mechanics at F1 Lotus as well as a solid history in training Motorsport UK officials with several ex drivers becoming Clerks, Scruniteers, Timekeepers and Stewards.

About Us
Normandy Rescue was formed back in 2002 as part of Classic and Vintage Motor Racing Club by a team of motor sport enthusiasts to provide First Aid and Extrication of Casualties at Motor Sport events in the Channel Islands.
We progressed well as a small team with training from the States of Jersey Ambulance Service and States of Jersey Fire and Rescue Service with live fire training completed with Jersey Airport Fire and Rescue Service at their training ground. The team then passed an assessment by Motor Sports association, which is the Governing body of motor sport through out the United Kingdom.
In March 2005 all of us benefited from two days of medical and extrication training from Hampshire Ambulance and Hampshire Fire and Rescue at Goodwood Motor Circuit along with 5 other rescue teams that attended the weekend. Since 2005 our team have attended 220 days of events, which has amounted to 7254 hours of voluntary work in supporting motor sport and other events. We regularly attend events in the UK such as the Forest of Dean Rally, Chepstow. Sunseeker Rally, Bournemouth, and world rally championship, Wales Rally GB which we send 2 rescue units with 10 crew.
In Jersey we hold monthly training evenings and regular training days that involve other agencies such as States Of Jersey Fire and Rescue Service.
We provide medical and rescue cover for all motor sport in Jersey, including arranging medical cover for the Jersey Rally, Jersey International Air Display and marshal arts competitions such as Rumble on the Rock, Kick Boxing.
Our future plans are to take on more events; our team can provide Safety, Medical, personnel for all types of events such as fetes, sporting, music festivals and any other events that are required to have safety or medical personnel in attendance.
If you would like to know more about our exploits please go to Facebook Normandy Rescue or contact Isobel Hamon at admin@normandyrescue.com.
