Dukeries Motor Club Ltd
Club Information
About Us
Dukeries Motor Club is based in Nottinghamshire and meets twice a month, every second and fourth Thursday, at the Mansfield Rugby Union Club, Eakring Road, Mansfield. NG18 3EW
Dukeries Motor Club was formed in 1954 with the aim of "promoting, encouraging and organising motor sport". It takes its name from the area of Nottinghamshire known as 'The Dukeries' which was once home to five Dukes. It is one of the regions leading motor clubs with an excellent reputation for organising events. In the past the club has organised up to six rallies each year but our efforts nowadays are concentrated on three special stage rallies; the Dukeries Rally Rally in March and the Donington Rally later in the year, both run at Donington Park, plus a further Single Venue Rally and a Targa Rally June.
In addition to the organisation of these events, and a members Track Day early in the year, Dukeries MC members assist other motor clubs around the UK with their events.
Many Dukeries club members are active competitors and their efforts over the years have meant that Dukeries Motor Club has won both the East Midlands Association (EMAMC) and the North East Midlands Association (ANEMMC) Championships on many occasions.
The club runs its own popular Rally Championship for club competitors with end of season trophies and valuable prizes. (see Club Website for further details)
