About Us
Who are we:
We are a family-oriented club of Land Rover enthusiasts.
If you have a Land Rover, you are eligible to join the club. Even if you dont have a Land Rover, but are an enthusiast, you are eligible to join the club.
We have Series 1, 2, 2a, 3, 101, military vehicles, Range Rovers (Classic, P38A and L322), Discoveries, Hybrids, Freelanders and Defenders in various guises you name it, a club member probably has one (or more).
We promote the varied use of Land Rovers and social gatherings of like-minded people.
Our club members have taken their vehicles as far afield as The Alps, the Pyrenees and Morocco on expeditions.
One club member has entered his vehicle in a competition for best prepared offroad vehicle at a recent 4x4 show, and another club member participated in the 2011 World Record attempt for the longest convoy of Land Rovers, Convoy for Heroes.
The club supports all Land Rover-based activities.
What do we do:
A club calendar is available to all members with events (vehicle-based and social) planned through the year, for example:
camping weekends at Billing with exclusive use of two offroad courses, plus other one-day events at other venues locally
Landy Clinics where members can tackle small jobs on their vehicles, guided by other members
Annual Concours and Fun Day
Recovery Training days
Greenlaning trips (day, night or weekends) in the UK
Punch Treasure Hunts
Club BBQs
Clay pigeon shooting
Christmas party
Attendance at Land Rover Shows
Who are we affiliated with:
We are members of the Association of Land Rover Clubs.
We are members of the Motor Sports Association, and operate all of our off-road events under MSA Permits.
We are members of the Greenlane Association (GLASS) and operate under their guidelines for our greenlaning activities.
