I am a professional Co-Driver with 18 years experience competing from clubman stage rallies to full World Championship. I have worked with drivers and teams at the highest level, with an understanding of what it takes to be an elite co-driver. I was mentored in early years by Robert Reid, Phil Mills & Nicky Grist as part of Team UK Involvement.

Biography

Before moving to the automotive industry fulltime, I was a Senior Scientific Manager in the field of cancer genomics and as well as running an efficient production facility my role was to teach those in the lab, including PHD students, external visitors and collaborating institutes, ensuring there was no compromise in quality of data output.
I started my own automotive company in 2016 to deliver training to drivers on tarmac, gravel, dirt and skid pan. I coach racing and stunt drivers as well as members of the public, including U17 training, where I use my communication and automotive skills to show the limits of a vehicle, how to drive within them safely and gain confidence and experience behind the wheel. I often host the safety briefings for clients at key UK motor circuits and will also be responsible for ensuring guidelines and rules of a particular setting are followed.
Since 2018 I have also worked with major car manufacturers on product launches training the sales workforce and management on the particular model of car itself and reviewing processes and procedures to bring efficiency and improve the customer experience at all touchpoints.

As a coach I'm experienced across a variety of vehicles from Minis/Ford KA's all the way through to Supercars/GT cars. I also have racing/coaching experience at the majority of UK circuits.

As a coach I'm passionate about sharing my knowledge and experience of our sport to help you improve your ability and build your confidence. I work with everyone from elite drivers through to complete novices. Whether you're looking for ten seconds or a tenth I can help!

I'm available for in car tuition & data analysis on track days, test days and race days. Through my company Chicane Events I can also provide hire cars for track days and race weekends with a full "arrive and drive" service.
