One of the key pillars of the Motorsport UK Vision 2030 Strategy is venues and events. As part of this, we are looking to understand which current venues are at risk of being lost. Clubs often report that venue loss is their number one concern.
Motorsport venues are often vulnerable to:
- Development pressure
- Noise complaints
- Financial viability
- Land use changes
A register of at risk venues allows us to:
- Identify threats early rather than reacting when it’s too late
- Prioritise interventions
- Develop tools to help Clubs
