National governing body to exhibit at the brand-new Excel London show, 26-28 February 2027, with licence renewal support, advice for newcomers and an exclusive ticket discount for Motorsport UK members.
Motorsport UK, the national governing body for four-wheeled motorsport in the UK, will be at the brand-new Motorsport Expo, taking place at Excel London from 26-28 February 2027, to help visitors take their next step in the sport.
Motorsport UK will exhibit at the inaugural three-day show, meeting its members and welcoming newcomers to the sport. Its stand will bring together practical advice, licence renewal support and inspiration for anyone looking to get involved, all with one ambition: helping more people enjoy motorsport, more often.
Start your season
For competitors with their sights set on 2027, the Motorsport UK team will be on hand to help with competition licence renewals and getting ready for the season ahead.
With more than 50 national championships, clubs, teams and motorsport suppliers coming together at the show, Motorsport Expo is the perfect place to explore where to compete, meet the people involved and find the equipment needed for the year ahead.
Start your journey
There’s a motorsport for everyone. From karting and circuit racing to rallying, hillclimbs and grassroots events in an everyday road car, there are more ways to take part than many people realise.
For those who love motorsport but are unsure where to begin, it all starts with a conversation. The Motorsport UK team will help visitors explore different disciplines, understand which licence they need and what it gives them, and find a route into the sport that suits their interests and budget. Visitors can also discover how to get closer to the action through volunteering and their local motor club.
Exclusive offer for Motorsport UK members
Motorsport UK members can enjoy an exclusive discount on Motorsport Expo tickets, plus the chance to win free tickets, through Motorsport UK’s new Member Rewards Hub. Members can access the offer by logging in to their Sport:80 account here.
The ultimate pre-season meeting place
Motorsport Expo is designed to unite the entire motorsport community, bringing together championships, engineering and technology companies, suppliers, clubs, competitors and fans, alongside specially curated displays of iconic competition cars, Esports and a 3,000-seat Live Action Arena. Friday 26 February is the show’s dedicated Trade Day, with more than 10,000 students from local schools discovering where STEM subjects can lead within motorsport careers.
The show arrives at an exciting time for the sport, with British drivers and co-drivers currently holding the FIA Formula One, World Endurance and World Rally Championship titles, and all three championships racing in the UK in 2027.
Hugh Chambers, CEO of Motorsport UK, said: “We’re proud to support this new addition to the motorsport calendar and look forward to meeting our members and welcoming newcomers at Motorsport Expo.
“Our ambition is simple: to help more people enjoy motorsport, more often. For existing competitors, that means helping them prepare for another season of the sport they love. For someone who has always watched from the sidelines, it means showing them how to take that first step.
“Whether you’re renewing your licence, returning after a break or wondering where to begin, come and talk to our team. We’ll help you start your season or start your journey.”
Simon Bennie, Managing Director of CarShowCo, the company behind Motorsport Expo, said: “We are delighted to welcome Motorsport UK to the inaugural Motorsport Expo. Having the national governing body at the show is a great fit for what we are setting out to achieve: a show that represents the whole of British motorsport.
“Motorsport Expo is where competitors can start their season and, for many, where they will start their journey in the sport. Having the Motorsport UK team on hand to help racers renew their licences and guide newcomers towards their first event is exactly what this show is all about.
“We want Motorsport Expo to become the annual pre-season meeting place for the British motorsport community: a place where people can see what is happening across the sport, discover new opportunities, make connections and, most importantly, find their way in. Whether it’s your next season or your first event, it starts here.”
Taking place alongside the London International Motor Show and Car Culture UK, Motorsport Expo forms part of a major three-day celebration of the automotive and motorsport sectors at Excel London from 26-28 February 2027.
