A new UK conference dedicated to disability, accessibility and opportunity in sim racing will take place at Oxford Brookes University on Saturday 28th November 2026, with the support of Motorsport UK.
Delivered by Motorsport UK Inclusion Grant recipient Quatermass Motorsport, DRiVE 2026 will bring together disabled and neurodivergent people, sim racers, teams, educators, accessibility specialists, technology providers and motorsport professionals for a day of practical guidance, discussion and networking.
Quatermass Motorsport was awarded funding through the Motorsport UK Inclusion Grant to support Disability Racing in Virtual Esports (DRiVE), a project championing accessibility in motorsport through adaptive technologies.
The conference will help disabled and neurodivergent people understand the opportunities available within sim racing, from getting started and choosing suitable equipment and adaptations to finding communities, competitions and development opportunities.
Attendees will hear from disabled competitors, coaches, content creators, teams, technology providers and industry organisations, while an exhibition and networking area will provide opportunities to see accessible equipment and make useful connections.
The conference will also introduce attendees to Motorsport UK Esports Membership and the resources available through the Motorsport UK Esports Hub, providing newcomers and existing sim racers with information to help identify their next steps.

“Sim racing can be a highly accessible way to get involved in motorsport, and initiatives like DRiVE play an important role in breaking down barriers and helping more people find their place in our sport.”

“As an autistic person growing up, I struggled to find opportunities in the sport I loved. Too often, people saw my disability before they saw my ability, ambition or what I might be capable of with the right support. Now I’m in a position where I can use what I’ve learned to create some of the opportunities I wish had existed for me and help other disabled and neurodivergent people find a clearer route forward.
“DRiVE is about bringing people together, sharing practical knowledge and showing disabled and neurodivergent people where they can compete, develop and belong.”
DRiVE is open to anyone with an interest in accessible sim racing or disability inclusion. Attendees do not need to own a simulator, hold a membership or have previous racing experience.
DRiVE 2026 takes place from 09:00 to 17:00 on Saturday 28th November at Oxford Brookes University, Headington, Oxford, OX3 0BP. Registration is free, with places required to be booked in advance.
