Motorsport UK is inviting passionate members of the motorsport community to help shape the future of the sport by applying to join its committees for 2027.
Recruitment is now open for a wide range of voluntary committee positions, offering competitors, officials, volunteers and industry professionals the opportunity to influence the future direction of British motorsport while supporting Motorsport UK’s Vision 2030 ambition to get more people enjoying motorsport, more often.
Committee members play an important role in helping develop policy, provide specialist expertise and support decision-making across the organisation. From safety, technical and sustainability to governance, equality, diversity and inclusion, and the sport’s many disciplines, successful applicants will help turn strategy into action and ensure motorsport continues to evolve for future generations.
The roles are voluntary, with reasonable expenses covered, and typically involve up to three meetings each year over a three-year term following an initial probation period. Members will work alongside fellow experts, volunteers and Motorsport UK staff to help guide the continued development of the sport.
Motorsport UK is keen to attract applicants from across the motorsport community, including those with experience in competition, officiating, governance, safety, medical, technical and sustainability roles. Fresh perspectives are actively encouraged, with the organisation seeking people who reflect the diversity of the communities it serves and are passionate about making motorsport more accessible and inclusive.
Opportunities are available across Discipline Committees, Cross-Discipline Committees, Sub-Committees and Advisory Committees, covering every aspect of the sport from karting, rallying and circuit racing to volunteering, rescue and recovery, medical, judicial, timekeeping and young officials.
