National Motorsport Week gets underway: over 180 events this weekend!

National Motorsport Week is here! With the British Grand Prix showcasing the top level of our sport, it’s time to get involved. Whether you are planning to compete, volunteer or spectate there is a motorsport for everyone with 188 permitted events just this weekend running from Thursday to Sunday – click here to use our event finder:

Festivals
The Goodwood Festival of Speed gets National Motorsport Week underway, showcasing all that is great about the sport, from competitive and demonstration runs on the famous hill climb covering all levels to the rally stage and many opportunities to start your motorsport journey. Motorsport UK will be attending too – find us in the Fan Zone near the F1 paddock and come and say hello!

Drag racing
Santa Pod is hosting the Motorsport UK British Championship for Pro Mod with a huge variety of cars including a Jet Car, this is summer motorsport at full throttle.

Circuit racing
Five circuits are holding events this weekend from club racing at Knockhill and Croft to a French-themed racing event at Oulton Park, Trucks at Snetterton and historic action at Brands Hatch.

Hill climb and sprint
Prescott is holding Abarth and Peugeot-themed events this weekend and there are events at Loton Park, Lydden Hill, Barbon Manor and in Guernsey – hill climbs and sprints run similar regulations and it’s a great discipline to get started in.
