As we gear up for another exciting season of motorsport, now is the perfect time to renew your competitor licence, with renewals now live for 2027.
Whether you’re competing in karting, rallying, speed events or navigating on the stages, you’re part of the community that makes motorsport happen.
From step-by-step renewal guidance to information on making the most of your membership, this is your one-stop shop for everything you need to know ahead of the new season.
How to renew
Renewing your Motorsport UK licence for 2027 is quick and straightforward through Sport:80. Simply log in to your account and select ‘View Profile’ to get started.
Depending on your licence type, you can update your medical information and complete your Medical Self-Declaration, renew your child’s licence by adding an Entrant PG Licence, or renew your RS Clubman Licence with the option to move up to the RS Clubman Upgrade for additional benefits.
Once you’ve selected the relevant licence, follow the on-screen instructions to add your licence to the basket and complete your renewal.
For International Invitations, your renewal pack will soon arrive in the post. If it hasn’t reached you within two weeks, please get in touch with our Member Services Team. You can also check or update your address through Sport:80.

Wanting to renew in person? Come and see us at Race Retro from February 19th-21st and the Motorsport UK team will be on hand throughout the event to help with renewals, answer any questions and offer advice on all things licensing and motorsport.

Please note that all licence holders are covered by Motorsport UK’s £100m Public Liability Insurance whilst participating in a permitted event.
