Clubs and communities that want to bring new ideas, activities and training opportunities to life can now apply for our new funding grants – with a total up to £250,000 available every year for projects that power progress in motorsport.

The Growth Grant Scheme, which is our biggest ever ongoing investment in grassroots and national motorsport, is currently taking its first tranche of applications.

Hugh Chambers said: “This is an important moment for our sport as it represents a significant commitment to invest directly in ideas and projects that can create meaningful progress.

“Our clubs and volunteers know their communities better than anyone. They understand the opportunities, the challenges and where investment could make the greatest difference – and we are looking forward to seeing Clubs come forward with their plans.

“Vision 2030 is all about getting more people doing more motorsport, more often. This is an ambition we share with our members across the country – and this grant is about turning that ambition into actions that will do exactly that.”

Powering the Future

We recognise our community is central to shaping the future of motorsport, understanding local communities, the barriers to progress and where the right investment could unlock new opportunities.

The Growth Grant Scheme will provide an ongoing opportunity to combine that knowledge and ambition with significant financial support, helping to turn strong ideas into deliverable projects by covering up to 75% of eligible project costs.

Those could involve attracting new participants, helping existing members do more, training and developing volunteers and officials, improving facilities, introducing new technology, improving accessibility or sustainability and delivering innovation.

Instead of one annual application period, there will be four opportunities to apply throughout the year, allowing Clubs and eligible organisations to come forward with strong, properly developed projects.

Funding will be focused on quality, impact and deliverability. The £250,000 is not simply a pot to be distributed; it is an investment in projects capable of creating tangible benefits for motorsport and its communities.

The first application window for The Growth Grant is now open and will close on 19th October 2026.
