From celebrating our 676 UK motor clubs to showcasing how to get involved in motorsport, 2024 was the inaugural edition of National Motorsport Week –   set to return from 10 to 20 July in 2025!

In 2024, we started the national campaign at a British Grand Prix that saw Sir Lewis Hamilton claim a record ninth victory.

During the campaign, we celebrated our 12,000 registered volunteers and signposted how easy it is to get involved in our sport, with access to specialist training and the opportunities to learn and exchange new skills within our friendly community.

Motorsport UK StreetCar clubs came to the forefront, providing opportunities for participants to take part in events in their own vehicles and we encouraged our network of clubs to get involved and hold their own events to invite more people into motorsport.

Southern Car Club an energetic and welcoming StreetCar Club, based in the South of England, boast large variety of competitive events, including: AutoSOLOs, road rallies and even the Forest Rally Stage at the Festival of Speed.

On the final day of National Motorsport Week, the Club held an exciting AutoSOLO event at Thruxton Circuit, providing an opportunity for both experienced competitors and those new to motorsport, to compete in StreetCar.
