Motorsport UK celebrates British motorsport volunteers during 2023 FIA Volunteers Weekend
Motorsport UK will join national motorsport federations (ASNs) around the world from 22-24 September to celebrate the 2023 FIA Volunteers Weekend.
FIA Volunteers Weekend celebrates and thanks the thousands of volunteers who contribute their time and effort to ensure the safety, fairness and enjoyment of the sport for everyone involved.
Throughout the weekend, the global motorsport community – from volunteers, marshals and officials to fans, drivers, clubs and members of the media – will join in the campaign to show their support and appreciation.
The Motorsport UK community are encouraged to share photos and stories from volunteering in motorsport across social media, using the hashtags #FIAVolunteersWeekend and #ThanksMarshal to connect with volunteers at all levels from around the world, from club events to world championships.
Volunteers are encouraged to submit images to Motorsport UK via its social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) and via content@motorsportuk.org. Throughout the weekend, Motorsport UK will share, repost, like and comment on shared content and on Sunday 24 September will share some of the best community supplied content on its social media.
One contributor, chosen at random by the Motorsport UK team, will win a Motorsport UK merchandise package up to the value of £200.00. Terms and conditions can be found here.
