Up to speed: 12-14 November 2021
Another weekend means more motorsport action. The Pirelli Motorsport UK Welsh Rally Championship is heading into its final round, and the British Sporting Trials Championship drivers are securing those vital championship points with only three rounds to go.
Here’s a look ahead at what’s on this weekend.
Pirelli Motorsport UK Welsh Rally Championship – Rallynuts Stages Rally
The final round of the Welsh Rally Championship takes place this weekend. The 44-mile Rallynuts Stages Rally based in Builth Wells will test the drivers’ skills to take to the demanding gravel course on Saturday.
Who will speed through the stage and claim the 2021 Welsh Rally Championship title? Garry Pearson and Niall Burns currently top the overall standings, with George Lepley only six points behind. Keep up with all the action throughout the weekend over on the Welsh Rally Championship Facebook page.
British Sporting Car Trials Championship – Roy Fedden Trial
The British Sporting Car Trials Championship heads to the county of Avon for the Roy Fedden trial, organised by the British Motor Club. The event, named after the aero-engine designer Sir Roy Fedden, also donated the striking Fedden Trophy, which is awarded every year to the winner of this event. With only three rounds of the 2021 championship remaining, the time to collate those final championship points is short.

Formula 1 Heineken Grande Prêmio De São Paulo 2021
The Autódromo José Carlos Pace anticipates the arrival of the Formula 1 teams for the 2021 São Paulo Grand Prix. The 71-lap race will provide British driver Lewis Hamilton with the opportunity to secure additional points and edge closer to the 2021 championship title. With only four races to go, can Hamilton get ahead of current leader Max Verstappen?
British driver and former Motorsport UK Academy driver Lando Norris maintains his position within the top five, placing British racing team McLaren Racing fourth in the constructor standings. Fellow Motorsport UK Academy alum and future 2022 Mercedes driver George Russell continues his battle further down the grid, motivated to elevate his current fifteenth place position in the standings in the last remaining races.
Watch the race on Channel 4, Sky Sports F1 or the F1 app, or receive updates on the F1 website throughout the weekend.
