British Rallycross Championship – Round 5 at Lydden Hill
The Motorsport UK British Rallycross Championship heads into its penultimate round at Lydden Hill this weekend, which will see the 600hp fire-breathing supercars jostle for position under floodlights.
Current championship frontrunner Ollie O’Donovan has a ten-point lead ahead of Derek Tohill, defending his second-place position against Julian Godfrey, sitting just two points behind.

Protyre Motorsport UK Asphalt Rally Championship – Tyrone Stages
This weekend marks the final round of the 2021 Asphalt Rally Championship, with the competitors heading to the Tyrone Stages in Northern Ireland. With James Pritchard and Phil Clarke having claimed the championship win at the Cheviot Stages Rally, this rally stage will allow the drivers to test their limits ahead of the 2022 season.

British Sporting Car Trials – Tulleys Farm
The British Sporting Car Trials drivers head to Sussex for the upcoming round of the championship. Organised by the Kentish Border C.C., the Tulleys Farm event will be another opportunity for drivers to collect those vital championship points, with only four events remaining in the 2021 calendar.

Motorsport UK is exhibiting at Motorsport Days Live at the Silverstone Wing on Saturday and Sunday. This event brings together race teams, manufacturers, clubs and drivers for the ultimate motorsport experience for all.

125th London to Brighton Veteran Car Run
This Sunday commemorates the 125th London to Brighton Veteran Car Run, which bears witness to an army of vintage vehicles heading down the original Emancipation Run route from London to Brighton. Recognised as one of the world’s longest-running motorsport events, this is the perfect event for historic motoring enthusiasts.

Formula 1 Gran Premio De La Ciudad De México 2021
The battle for the Formula 1 championship continues as the drivers head to Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico City. As well as defending their track position, the driver will face the spectacular Peralta corner that winds through the old Foro Sol baseball stadium.
British driver Sir Lewis Hamilton has a 12 points deficit from Red Bull Racing’s Max Verstappen. However, with four races still to go after Mexico, Hamilton still has a chance to gain those crucial championship points and retake the championship lead.
Fellow Brit and Motorsport UK Academy alum Lando Norris sits within the top five, hopeful of getting ahead of Sergio Perez, who is one point ahead, and George Russell continues his fight further down the field.
