It was an action-packed Saturday in the world of rallying as the championship leaders descended on northern Wales for the Visit Conwy Cambrian Rally, ready to compete in the penultimate rounds of the British Rally Championship and Pirelli Welsh National Rally Championship.

British Rally Championship – Round 6, Visit Conwy Cambrian Rally

Osian Pryce stormed through the Cambrian Rally course to come home with the overall win. Alongside co-driver Noel O’Sullivan, the pair took their second British Rally Championship win of the season and led from the opening stage. Seb Perez and Gary McElhinney took their maiden BRC podium in second place, with Matt Edwards and Darren Garrod claiming the final podium position.

The Modern Tyres Ulster Rally marks the final round of the British Rally Championship, taking place on 20 November, where the 2021 champion will be crowned.

Pirelli Welsh National Rally Championship – Round 4, Visit Conwy Cambrian Rally

Garry Pearson and Niall Burns impressed again, winning their class in the Welsh National Rally Championship at the Conwy Cambrian Rally. Sadly, some of the drivers became victims of the unforgiving and slippery forest conditions.
