Missed the action from the weekend? We have the key highlights from overseas and closer to home right here for you.

Formula 4 – Round 7, 8 & 9 – Brands Hatch

Exciting Formula 4 racing was taking place at Brands Hatch this weekend, with a victory on Saturday for Zak Taylor, and James Hedley continuing to display his racing talent by securing a win in the first race on Sunday. The final race was a maiden victory for Argenti Motorsport driver Matias Zagazeta.

After the weekend’s events, James Hedley continues to lead the championship, 20 points ahead of Matthew Rees.

British Kart Championship – Event 4 Rotax, Honda & KZ2 – Mansell Raceway

It was a return to Mansell Raceway for this year’s British Kart Championship, with this weekend featuring the Rotax, Honda and KZ2 series.

British GT Championship – Round 2 – Silverstone

Hunter Abbott and Martin Kodric from 2 Seas Motorsport won the Silverstone 500 this weekend, with the drivers securing a 30 second lead in the opening stint. Along with this, Matt Topham and Darren Turner took top spot for the Newbridge Motorsport team in the GT4 race.

British Formula 3 – Round 4, 5 & 6 – Silverstone

It was a successful weekend for Hitech GP’s Reece Ushijima who won the first two races of the weekend, achieving a maiden victory in the BRDC British F3 Championship. Ushijima missed out on the hattrick, trailing behind final race winner Ayrton Simmons by eight seconds.

British Sprint Championship – Round 4 – Snetterton

It was victory for Matt Hillam who won the British Sprint Championship round this weekend at Snetterton in his 2.0l XE SBD Dallara. The next event will be held at Lydden Hill on Saturday 17th July.

Overseas…

Formula 1 Austria Grand Prix

Red Bull continue to dominate in the FIA Formula 1 Championship, with Max Verstappen taking the lead once again from Mercedes. The weekend result has increased the gap Lewis Hamilton has to bridge in the championship, with Verstappen leading by 18 points. British driver Lando Norris continues to impress, as the young driver took P5 in Austria, ahead of both Ferrari drivers.

WRC Safari Rally Kenya

An incredible weekend of rallying was enjoyed during the WRC return for Safari Rally Kenya. It was a win for Sebastien Ogier and co-driver Julien Ingrassia driving for Toyota, who both took the challenges the stages offered in their stride to top the leaderboard

British driver Gus Greensmith took P4 in his Fiesta, ahead of Efyn Evans who secured P10 with his co-driver Scott Martin.
