Motorsport UK has launched a new Young Volunteer of the Year Award for 2026, recognising the hard work, dedication and leadership of volunteers under the age of 35.

From marshals and officials to club volunteers and organisers, young people give their time and enthusiasm across motorsport, playing an important role in helping events run safely and successfully.

The new award provides an opportunity to celebrate those contributions and shine a spotlight on young volunteers making an impact across the sport.

Clubs and members of the motorsport community are encouraged to nominate a deserving young volunteer and help recognise the people giving their time and energy to motorsport.

The winner of the Young Volunteer of the Year Award will receive £1,000 and a trophy, while the runner-up will receive £500 and a trophy.

Further information, including details of what should be included in an application, is available in the Young Volunteer of the Year Nomination Guidance.
