New Learning Hub coming on 22 May to support Motorsport UK community
Motorsport UK is pleased to announce that a new Learning Hub will be launched on 22 May 2024, bringing key training and education materials to the entire Motorsport UK community.
The Learning Hub will serve as the central location for key resources to support the development of marshals, officials, clubs, coaches and competitors.
The new Learning Hub will replace the existing one and bring together the Trainers’ Hub and Coaching Hub, that were also housed on separate platforms. With an emphasis on an improved user experience and accessibility of training materials, content will be tailored to the user based on the licence or registration they hold. In addition, the new Learning Hub is optimised for use on smartphones and tablets allowing further ease of access.
To ensure a smooth launch of the new platform on 22 May, we wish to advise members of the following:
- Access to the current Learning Hub will be stopped on 13 May for all Members. This is to allow all modules held within the current platform to be transferred to the new platform. Module completion data for all active users of the current platform will be carried over.
- We will be unable to accept any new Marshal registrations from 13 May to 22 May, as there will be no access to the Registered Marshal Accreditation Course during this time. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
- Individuals participating in the Accelerator Award will be unable to access their online content from the 13 May to 22 May.
- Individuals undertaking the Certificate in Coaching Motorsport L2 Qualification will have received separate communications from our Competitor Development Team regarding access to the Coaching Hub
- Motorsport UK Trainers will be unable to access the Trainers’ Hub from 13 May to 22 May. A separate communication will be made by the Volunteer Development Team to all Motorsport UK Trainers shortly.
We look forward to launching our new Learning Hub platform to our community later this month. In the meantime, should you have any questions, please email training@motorsportuk.org
