He brought a wealth of experience, knowledge and commitment to his roles within the sport. He served as Chair of the East Midlands Association of Motor Clubs Ltd, was a long-serving Trustee of the British Motorsport Trust and previously held the position of Chair of Lincoln Motor Cycle and Car Club Ltd.
Phil’s contribution to motorsport extended well beyond his committee work. He competed in Lincoln club events from 1984, took part in the RAC International Historic Rally in 1994 and competed in the British Historic Championship from 1995 to 2001.
He also enjoyed an extraordinary 25-year association with the Ypres Historic Rally, alongside competing in numerous historic rallies across Belgium and France.
Phil’s dedication, passion and commitment to motorsport will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and sincere condolences are with his family, friends and all those who had the privilege of knowing and working with him.
