Twenty talented and promising young drivers have been confirmed for the Motorsport UK Enhanced Diploma in Sporting Excellence (DiSE) programme for the 2026/27 academic year.

The new cohort will begin the bespoke two-year programme this September, joining the Motorsport UK Academy Talent Pathway and combining their education with the development of their driving skills.

Delivered in collaboration with Loughborough College Group at the Brooksby College Campus – home of the Motorsport UK DiSE Academy – the Enhanced DiSE programme provides a full-time talent development pathway for young competitors.

The programme offers drivers the flexibility to follow the education path of their choice within motorsport while continuing to develop their skills behind the wheel. It is developed from the Government-funded Diploma in Sporting Excellence qualification and combines this with motorsport-specific education to create a unique programme.

Aligned with the wider Motorsport UK Academy Talent Pathway, the two-year programme focuses on three core elements: technical skills, holistic athlete development and high-performance values.

As part of the Enhanced DiSE programme, students undertake the Pearson BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Sporting Excellence and Performance, Pearson Level 3 Extended Certificate in eSports, Diploma in Sporting Excellence (DiSE), and Advanced Project-Based Certificate in Motor Vehicle Studies.

The following drivers will enter their first year of the Enhanced DiSE programme this September:
