Motorsport UK is sad to learn of the passing of Neil Brown, a prominent figure in British motorsport engineering.
His company, Neil Brown Engineering (NBE) has been a renowned competition engine supplier for 40 years, working with many leading teams and championships, including playing a fundamental part in the British F4 Championship since 2022.
Invariably approachable and friendly, Neil was a perfectionist whether in his approach to engine design, building and maintenance or when racing.
The standards he set laid the foundations for the growth of NBE into a company in which major manufacturers such as Honda, Audi and Ford put their trust.
Motorsport UK sends its condolences to Neil’s family, friends and colleagues throughout the industry.
