Motorsport UK is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Gene McDonald and Daire Maguire at the Sligo Stages Rally in Ireland.

Driver McDonald, a Motorsport Ireland licence holder, and Co-Driver Maguire, a Motorsport UK licence holder, sadly lost their lives during an incident.

Motorsport UK join the motorsport community in extending our sincerest condolences to Gene and Daire’s family and friends, and our colleagues at Motorsport Ireland.

Motorsport UK is working closely with Motorsport Ireland and our thoughts are with them at this sad time.
