Countdown to the second edition of FIA Motorsport Games

Wednesday 03 November 2021

A unique social media broadcast launched today (3 November), giving fans and competitors a sneak peek into the second edition of the FIA Motorsport Games. It features Motorsport UK CEO Hugh Chambers and the ‘World’s Fastest Gamer’ and 2019 Team UK Digital Cup competitor James Baldwin.

As an inclusive, global celebration of the sport in all its forms, the FIA Motorsport Games brings together athletes from every corner of the world, with categories for grassroots competitors right the way up to elite sportspersons. Its unique format sees professional and amateur racers going head-to-head in their country colours, with no fewer than 49 ASNs (National Sporting Authorities) represented in the inaugural event held at the Vallelunga Circuit close to Rome in 2019.

Next year’s event will showcase more motorsport disciplines, including Endurance and GT races, four rallying categories, AutoSlalom, additional karting competitions and the burgeoning entry-level CrossCar, which has separate classes for junior and senior entrants.

The second FIA Motorsport Games will take place between 26-30 October 2022 at Circuit Paul Ricard, Veynes and St. Baume. Follow #FIAMotorsportGames or the FIA Motorsport Games on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
