Pheebe Fletcher recognised as BRMC Marshal of the Year 2023

Pheebe Fletcher has won the British Rally Marshals Club (BRMC) 2023 Marshal of the Year Award (The Jimmy McRae Award).

Fletcher started marshalling as a cadet when she was 11-years-old with her father and her brother and has been a registered marshal with Motorsport UK since 2019.

She regularly undertakes 25-30 events per year fulfilling various roles at both Rally and Speed events.  She also assists at Rally Rescue training days by acting as a simulated casualty.

Not standing still, she will join her father on his Recovery Unit, Mable Recovery, as a Trainee when she turns 17. With an eye on her future, Fletcher is currently studying a Level 2 in motorsport at college with an aspiration to join a World Rally Championship or Formula 1 team as a mechanic in the future.

“I just messaged friends to say I am famous as my picture is on BWRDC Stand,” commented Fletcher on receiving her award. “l am even more so now! What a surprise, I’m actually shaking. l am so thrilled.”

Chairman of the BRMC, John Jones, added, “It’s great to see youngsters coming through and continuing the great work. Pheebe sets a great example to others, and I hope she reaches her goals.
