This weekend sees another packed weekend and we have chosen a few picks from our British Championships. Where are competing or volunteering? Let us know on our social media channels.

 

British Touring Car Championship – Round 3 – Brands Hatch Indy

The teams are at Brands Hatch this weekend for Round 3 of the British Touring Car Championship. It was a successful Round 2 for Ash Sutton, with his points from the race meeting securing his top spot in the championship standings. Can Tom Ingram come back fighting in this round to bridge the two-point gap between him and Sutton?

Formula 4 – Round 7, 8 & 9 – Brands Hatch

In between the BTCC, the Formula 4 teams will be racing in their next three races over the weekend. With Hedley displaying some excellent racing in the last event to secure the top position in the standings, it is going to be an interesting weekend to see if his competitors can challenge him.

British Kart Championship – Event 2 Rotax, Honda & KZ2 – Mansell Raceway

It is the second event for the Rotax, Honda and KZ2 series, which takes place at Mansell Raceway in Devon. The two-day event will be sure to provide an abundance of exciting racing action, with drivers motivated to claim the coveted first position. The DHR, Strawberry Racing and Argenti Motorsport teams achieved amazing results in the first round, let’s see if they can do it again this weekend.

British GT Championship – Round 2 – Silverstone

The British GT teams will be taking to Silverstone this weekend to compete in the second round of the championship. Century Motorsport and WPI Motorsport took the top championship points in Round 1 at Brands Hatch, resulting in Igoe and Keen currently drawing first in the standings. There is certain to be some gritty racing between the two drivers at this race.

British Formula 3 – Round 4, 5 & 6 – Silverstone

The British Formula 3 Championship teams are at the Silverstone circuit to compete in three races over the weekend. Carlin are currently occupying the top spot in the standings, with thanks to both Zak Sullivan’s and Christian Mansell’s impressive driving at Brands Hatch in the first round.

Will the British weather cause issues for the team and give close competitors Oliver Bearman and Reece Ushijima an advantage?

British Drag Racing Championship – Round 2 – Santa Pod

This weekend is the ‘Festival of Power Unlocked’ as part of the British Drag Racing Championship held at Santa Pod Raceway. The event promises a full three days of high-octane fuelled fun for both competitors and spectators.

British Sprint Championship – Round 4 – Snetterton

Snetterton welcomes the British Sprint Championship for the two-day British Sprint Championship event. The last race at Pembrey Circuit concluded with Steve Miles taking the lead, with a total score of 200 from the weekend, closely followed by Graham Blackwell with 172.

British Car Trial Championship – Wye Valley Trial

In the last round, the British Car Trial Championship took us to Kidderminster Motor Car Club’s Wyre Forest Trial, with Rupert North in his Suzuki leading the weekend event. This time the championship is at the Ross & District Motor Sports’ Wye Valley Trial, where the drivers are sure to channelling all their skills to combat the forecasted British weather.
