Motorsport UK Esports launches official FF1600 Trophy on iRacing
Motorsport UK will launch its first official iRacing series for Season 1 2025 from Tuesday 3 December: The Motorsport UK FF1600 Trophy by Thrustmaster.
The series, which will run thanks to the ongoing relationship between Motorsport UK and iRacing, will last for 12 weeks with a 20-minute race taking place every hour throughout the season.
Any driver on iRacing with a D licence or above will be able to take part in the season and test their skills in the iconic Ray FF1600 car.
Paul Crawford, Head of Esports, Motorsport UK, commented, “The launch of this new series signifies a a step forward for Motorsport UK Esports and places it firmly on the sim racing industry map. I hope that the variety of circuits and number of races being offered will encourage even more drivers to have a go.”
Using the Ray FF1600 car, the series will predominantly race on much-loved UK circuits with the inclusion of several European locations during the season:
- Week one – Silverstone National
- Week two – Brands Hatch GP
- Week three – Snetterton 200
- Week four – Oulton Park International
- Week five – Thruxton
- Week six – Donington National
- Week seven – Cadwell Park
- Week eight – Oulton Park Island Historic
- Week nine – Sachsenring
- Week ten – Knockhill International
- Week eleven – Zolder
- Week twelve – Brands Hatch Indy
