We have an exciting opportunity on Saturday 9^th July for any girls in the Girls on Track UK Community, aged 8-14 years, to have a once in a lifetime experience at the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team in Brackley.

To celebrate International Women in Engineering Day (INWED) 2022, we are collaborating with the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team to put on an experience day at their HQ, which we hope will inspire and excite girls into the world of motorsport and engineering.

On the day, successful applicants will have the chance to meet female staff from one of F1’s most iconic teams, get involved in a STEM Lego coding challenge and of course see how fast they can be on the ever-popular pitstop and batak challenges! As well as all of this, the girls (and their plus 1) will also get an exclusive behind the scenes tour of the 8x Formula One World Champions.

To be in with a chance of winning this money can’t buy prize, your daughter needs to design a Mercedes car of the future! This can be done on the computer or by hand and can be an F1 car or a road car – the choice is hers. Photographs/scans of their entries must be e-mailed to girlsontrack@motorsportuk.org by Sunday 26^th June by 6pm in order to be included in the competition. The e-mail must also include the name and age of the entrant and also of the plus one who will be attending on the day if her car is chosen as a winner.

Winners will be notified on Monday 27^th June if they have been successful in gaining a place at this event. If you don’t hear on this date, please assume that your daughter has not been successful.

Please note that each participant will require a chaperone with them who is over the age of 18 and there will only be space for one accompanying adult.
