Team UK took silver in the Historic Rally Gravel discipline at the FIA Motorsport Games in Valencia, Spain, this evening, their first podium of the 2024 edition of the event.

The father-daughter duo of Ernie Graham and co-driver Anna Graham, of Team Flexifly, competed across six regular stages in the Valencian countryside in their Ford Escort RS, before fighting off Italy and Czechia during the final gravel Super Special Stage within the Ricardo Tormo Circuit, starting the stage in pole with a 0.3 second lead.

Ernie commented, “We gave it our everything round that circuit and I think we kept it pretty tidy, but unfortunately Zippo [Italy] just pipped us by two seconds… so close… but we gave it our best shot.

“We had a really tough day, there were challenging stages, we had some good times and a bit of competition the whole way.”

Team UK is represented by four teams in the Rally discipline at the 2024 FIA Motorsport Games, with a total entry list of 43 teams competing across tarmac and gravel stages in Valencia, Spain.
