Motorsport UK TV has been nominated for two highly-prized SportsPro OTT Awards – Best New Platform and Best User Experience.

Launched in April 2023 and accessible via www.motorsportuk.tv, Motorsport UK TV has quickly become the single destination for new and existing audiences to access video and livestreams across multiple disciplines of motorsport.

Content includes training and circuit guides from driver coaching experts, a key series of Motorsport UK webinars on a wide variety of topics, the latest videos from British Championships, top tips on getting started in StreetCar and insights into all motorsport disciplines for newcomers to the sport.

It is also the ultimate destination to watch a wide variety of live motorsport offered directly to viewers via the internet – otherwise known as OTT broadcast – or catch-up using video on-demand after the event.

Staged in Madrid at the end of November, the SportsPro OTT Awards celebrate the pioneers of sports-broadcasting across 19 categories paying tribute to the most creative and inspiring uses of technology and new thinking.

The ground-breaking solutions and innovative strategies behind Motorsport UK TV have been nominated for both Best User Experience and Best New Platform accolades.

On the shortlists, Motorsport UK join major sporting properties such as the Olympic Channel, National Football League (NFL), National Hockey League (NHL), World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and German Bundesliga as well as broadcasting giants ESPN+, Amazon Prime, DAZN and Warner Brothers Sport.

The Best User Experience is for platforms, products, and services that deliver an intuitive, interactive and flexible user experience that drives greater retention and consumption of sports. And Best New Platform recognises the most successful launch or re-launch of an OTT platform either direct to consumer or aggregator to the market.
